It’s a wrap! IBC 2018, RAI Amserterdam, the foremost annual event in the electronic media, entertainment and technology industry, has come to an end after 5 days of innovation and media highlights. There were over 1,700 exhibitors and more than 57,000 attendees hosted from 170 countries. Prodea’s VP of Business and Partnerships, Ivar Beljaars, was onsite for a first-hand perspective on all the excitement.

“Voice is definitely changing the user experience. Advances in machine learning and speech recognition creates a simpler and richer way to access content,” said Ivar Beljaars. “We are now filling our homes with smart technology which can greatly improve the quality of our daily lives. Customers now expect to be able to control their devices with their voice while in their homes, while remotely monitoring their home’s security and energy efficiency.”

Through Coriant’s  Multi-Sided Platform Partnership Program and Prodea’s IoT Service X-Change platform and ecosystem our partnership accelerates global adoption of IoT services by simplifying go-to-market deployment across multiple vertical markets. Prodea currently offers health, surveillance, smart home and connected products service solutions. Now is the time for service providers and network operators to get ready for the incredible growth in services needed to derive value from the smart home device explosion. Moreover, operators who don’t offer smart home services risk losing subscribers to providers that do. Prodea makes it incredibly quick and easy to launch a smart home offering that provides the services that consumers want to buy now.

We would like to express our sincerest gratitude to IBC. It was an excellent show!
