Tyson King to Lead Prodea’s Sales Team

RICHARDSON, TX – FEBRUARY 20, 2018 – Prodea Systems Inc., a leading global provider of IoT platform technology and managed solutions, today announced that veteran sales executive Tyson King has joined the company as Vice President of Worldwide Sales.

King is responsible for all aspects of Prodea’s worldwide sales organization. He has previously served in various leadership roles within sales and business development organizations at Alarm.com’s subsidiary Building 36, Numerex, Novatel Wireless, and Texas Instruments. Most recently, King was responsible for doubling SaaS revenues YoY through the addition of major partnerships with large cap companies. During his career, he has built strong sales teams that have generated additional revenue that exceeded $100M in annual sales. King believes in combining effective technical solutions with a collaborative approach towards customer engagement resulting in winning business models. This approach has helped him forge long-term partnerships that have driven successful and sustainable businesses for his companies. Tyson earned a Bachelor of Science in electrical engineering at Michigan State University with additional studies at the University of Kaiserslautern, Germany.
