Internet of Things and home automation leaders are collaborating and cooperating with 3rd-party vendors to build more value and compelling use cases for their customers. A little clever detective work from Gigaom this week (looking at Sonos job postings on LinkedIn), showed that Sonos is building “elegant APIs to play and control your music on Sonos, allowing third party music services to easily integrate their apps with Sonos.”  This type of collaboration and interoperability is something we are seeing more and more in the industry and at Arrayent.

IoT value comes with connections, especially if you are a brand leader and you maintain control of your ecosystem. Arrayent is the IoT Cloud Platform chosen by trusted brands largely because we build you YOUR OWN IoT CLOUD for YOUR CUSTOMERS and you get to build and control YOUR IoT ECOSYSTEM.  Arrayent customers such as Whirlpool, OSRAM, and Chamberlain/Liftmaster have all used Arrayent’s cloud APIs to build their own ecosystem integrations — partnering with the likes of Nest and Alarm.com.   Arrayent’s cloud APIs allow our customers to integrate their products with other connected products or other IoT apps.
