We see how vertically-oriented integrators and solutions providers create ‘silos’ for service providers making it impossible to extend new services into other vertical markets. Trying to fix this requires duplicating operational infrastructure for each vertical which results in higher service costs, higher user prices, and lower take rates.

In 2017, Prodea Systems acquired Arrayent, Inc. the leading consumer IoT cloud services platform. The Prodea ‘Smart Device’ services based on the Arrayent platform enable device-to-cloud connectivity, advanced device & user management, powerful data management & output, third-party ecosystem interoperability and much more. Prodea & Arrayent have brought Smart Device services to (and actively manage) over 100 connected products from more than 20 mass-market brands launched in 80 countries. LAUNCH TURNKEY IOT SERVICES THAT DRIVE BUSINESS VALUE
Prodea offers a smart home surveillance, control and automation service for operators looking to add increase average revenue per user and reduce churn. By combining technologies from IoT Service X-Change partners and Prodea’s own IoT Services Platform, operators can quickly integrate and deliver their own customized and branded smart home solution including groups, scenes, and advanced automation capabilities—with access to, and control of, over fifty curated and tested connected devices.

BOOST OPERATIONAL EFFICIENCIES WHILE IMPROVING PATIENT OUTCOMES
A good example of Smart Home technology being deployed into a different vertical market is Prodea’s ‘Remote Home Patient Monitoring’ service. This service is used by healthcare providers for chronic care management, telemedicine, elder care and more. By coupling healthcare monitoring technologies from IoT Service X-Change partners, Prodea’s own IoT Services Platform, and curated connected health monitoring products, healthcare providers can improve their patient outcomes while reducing operational costs.

MAKING A DIFFERENCE FOR END USERS AND THE ORGANIZATIONS THAT SERVE THEM
The best-of-breed solutions available through Prodea’s IoT Service X-Change and platform are applicable to many different enterprises, organizations and government agencies. One example is Project DRUV a community development program deployed in the northern Indian state of Rajasthan. In partnership with the state government, Tata Trusts, and Airtel, Prodea’s platform was used to bring Internet connectivity and educational content to underserved and underprivileged populations.
