MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Global telecom and digital solutions conglomerate Cima Group and a developer and manufacturer of healthcare solutions, Eocene Systems, announced today, that they completed the creation of a joint venture, Cima Care Solutions. The deal unites the two organizations’ unique set of capabilities to effectively deliver an active in-home patient care and monitoring solution for the next generation of telemedicine.
The announcement comes on the heels of Cima Group’s recent acquisition of Orlando-based Knetik and its robust digital revenue optimization platform for the monetization of any digital transaction along with a deeper and broader view into customer engagement and comprehensive data reporting and analytics.
The combination of Eocene Health’s strong in-home health monitoring solutions, Knetik’s revenue, and customer management, engagement and analytics platform, paired with the OSS/BSS platform and telecom ecosystem from Auris, a Cima Group Company, provides the components that are poised to deliver a truly seamless, end-to-end telehealth solution. This remote healthcare delivery solution will connect the patient inside their home to the healthcare provider for active monitoring and care. The technology allows the healthcare professional to continue to monitor and communicate with the patient after the patient leaves the hospital or office. The joint venture is powered by Prodea’s award-winning multiservice IoT platform that serves as the single access point, enabling patients to take full advantage of a growing menu of cutting-edge health services, while simultaneously creating new revenue streams for operators looking to monetize their digital service set.
“Eocene Health has already effectively combined key components of the Auris and Knetik PaaS to provide a fully connected and effortless patient experience while using Prodea’s innovative IoT platform. The joint venture builds on and expands this leading architecture to further enhance the patient experience, improve healthcare delivery and enable revenue optimization,” said Juan Martin Gomez, CEO of Cima Group. “We are excited about where this will take telemedicine, chronic healthcare management, and the connected home.”
Together, Eocene, Auris, Knetik, Prodea, and their partners, uniquely combine all of the connectivity, interfaces (APIs), web services, applications, processes and the professional services for seamless, end-to-end solutions for healthcare and other vertical markets.
Bryan Sowards, CEO of Eocene Systems said, “The ecosystem required to pull together the healthcare solution we provide is a huge challenge that involves tremendous coordination and integration with key partners. We must have the ability to deliver a system capable of meeting the needs of the patients and the doctors. That includes management of patient care, engagement tactics that incent and encourage use, proper analytics for data-driven decision-making and, of course, a reliable digital connection for successful telemedicine. We know the teams at Auris and Knetik are the right ones to complete and enhance the solution we have embarked on deploying with Prodea.”
“We are excited to see Eocene Systems expand its capabilities in this ecosystem. By joining Prodea and Cima Group’s Knetik and Auris, we can now deliver global scale healthcare by enabling real-time communications and reporting with the intuitive integration of patient data and analytics – all while driving patient engagement and the monetization of end-to-end transactions in healthcare, or any other vertical market,” said Anousheh Ansari, CEO of Prodea Systems “Prodea’s platform is the gateway to the connected patient who can now receive first class healthcare in the comfort of their own home. Our platform will enable the joint venture to provide dramatically improved, seamless in home healthcare over any device with the patient’s wellbeing in mind.”
Cima Group actively works with partners and its existing client base to anticipate market needs in the ever-evolving digital marketplace. The partnership with Eocene marks Cima Group’s expansion into new markets setting the stage for the telecom and digital conglomerate’s future growth.
